Eleanor A. (Mueller) Summeier, 88, of Indianapolis passed away June 29, 2016. She was born September 10, 1927 in Indianapolis. She worked for Grain Dealers Mutual Insurance Company for 28 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Edwin Summeier. She is survived by her children Christine (Mark) Livingston, Mary (Joe) Voeller, and Henry (Connie) Summeier; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and her sister Judy Murray.
Visitation will be held at Friedens United Church of Christ, 8300 S. Meridian St., on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the church at 11 am with visitation beginning at 10 am. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Friedens United Church of Christ.

I have no doubt that God will remember her and keep her memory safe. He will surely be glad to bring her back to life in a perfect world when suffering will be no more and we will all welcome back our loved ones that are asleep in death. I am Bob Roehlings cousin and he and I used to play cards with Edwin and Eleanor and have such fun. She always served us her wonderful rhubarb pie. I enjoyed knowing her.
